The Special Production of HARIBO Sweets

The production of HARIBO sweets begins with a creative idea, which is first sketched by hand and then realized as a 3D model. A high-tech milling machine creates a plaster prototype that serves as a template for production. Hundreds of stamps press the figures into boxes filled with cornstarch, creating negative molds. The liquid gummy mixture is then poured into these molds, which hardens and receives a wax coating that provides the typical shine and prevents sticking.

For special shapes like the famous gummy snails, the mass is pressed through nozzles to achieve the desired form. This combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern technology makes HARIBO sweets so special and ensures that every bag of HARIBO is a little bag of happiness.
